Sri Lanka Visa

I have applied for the Visa.  they give you a form to take with you and you pay on arrival.  You don;t pay in advance.

I. received my ETA approval on 5th Jan and so far no money taken from my account. I have just rung the helpline number in Sri lanka and was told the money would be taken from my account before arrival in Sri Lanka. The visa will be given to me in Colombo airport .

          The situation is this....I phoned the Sri Lanka Embassy yesturday and was told that the web site isn't working so all you needon arrival  is proof that you have tried to apply and that means that Application Ref Nr . The money wasn't taken from me either but you pay it on arrival ...Unfortunately this will be now 25 dollars...No big deal really...

Hi all

I have now had 2 lots of 20 dollars taken from my curent account although I paid on my credit card.

I have emailed the sri lankan immigration  in the hope they will return 20 dollars (£13.42). It appears that they are in a mess!

I'm going on the Discover Sri Lanka trip which leaves this Saturday 28th January and I too have been charged twice (2 lots of 20 dollars) - I have tried emailing the contact email on the immigration website but have had no response :(
