Hiya,

Any one done this one? What's the general opinion on footwear for the mountain. Can I get away with Salomon Mountain Lites or do I play it cagey and take the Scarpa Vegas ?

Hi TimThe Solomon lites are fine (make sure you have suitable crampons to fit these) - you do not really need heavy plastic boots for Stok Kangri - the Scarpas are too heavy. Best wishes
