Trip - AYU - GORILLAS & MASAI MARA, Departure Date - Saturday 27th August 2011

I have been made aware of the stuffyourrucksack.com website, which encourages western travellers to register on that site to find out specifically what certain organisations and charities in those countries would like travellers to bring with them.  e.g. Aspire Rwanda equips marginalised women with the knowledge and skills they need to become self-sufficient and improve their families’ standard of living focusing on literacy, life skills, health and income generation. They ask that travellers bring books for teaching English, sewing materials and kids clothes.

Does Explore support this in any way, or are there specific items which Explore can identify the orphanage in Rwanda would like us to bring with us when we visit?
