Trip - TBG - BHUTAN: LAYA TREK, Departure Date - Wednesday 13th October 2010

Hi

I am really looking forward to the trip, especially after the TV series this week. We will be beating tigers away from our tents.

Is there anyone else as excited as me?

Sean

Hi Sean; It is certainly getting exciting. My wife Gillian and I will be joining you in Kathmandu as we are flying from Vancouver via Hong Kong. We have been to Nepal twice but this is our first trip to Bhutan, although it has long been on our 'must do' list. Our friend Kathy is also on this trip and will be flying from New York via London. I was told there are 8 on this trip so that leaves 4 to hear from!! Chas.

Hi Chas, Good to hear from you. I imagine you have no idea what I was talking about in my post. There was a short TV series in the UK about tigers in Bhutan, up as high as 4,000 metres. They visited Laya & Tiger mountain but nothing there. I live in Portsmouth & will be travelling from Heathrow, so I shall look forward to meeting you in the Royal Singhi Hotel. I am really looking forward to it. You can't beat those nights shivering in a tent, with an altitude headache & the need to go to the toilet all night. Magic! Sean
