See if we can get a few more people talking before we meet. I think dollars should be fine seem to work in other African countries. looks like a good mix of people should be fun.

I have just been scouring the forum and looking in the destinations part. Looking at various other folks questions it looks like we will be taken into windhoek on arrival and be able to use ATMs or exchange money there. Hopefully same will be case as we enter Botswana. Looks like Dollars or pounds are good and in Namibia the SA Rand is OK. I am sure we wont be left unable to support local economy.
As long as I have enough to buy a mossie net at the first opportunity i will be happy.

Just wondering who else may be coming along on the Botswana/Namibia trip and if anyone has any suggestions regards the best form of currancy to take. I'm thinking US dollars with maybe some Namibian dollars?
