Just over two months to go and with half term out of the way it's time for me to get prematurely excited. But with good reason, the trip is full so I am excited about what we can get done. Anyway before I get carried away I thought I'd start a thread to introduce ourselves and calm me down a bit.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Great to hear from you. Now we've hit the 3 weeks to go mark time does seem to be flying away! I hope you'll love Tijzha as much as I do, this will be my third time to the valley on this trip.
I can't remember what the trip notes suggest but you will need: good walking shoes or boots, a water bottle, a torch, flip flops for the showers/ in the gite and clothes you don't mind getting dirty in. For the gite you'll need a sleeping bag and a towel. Walking through the village it is preferred that we are covered up for walking through. You really don't need to take a lot though, if you have space in your luggage let Andy know and he can fill it up with things for the village!
Both trips before had totally different weather, two years ago it was really hot, last year it was pleasant during the day and quite cool at night. There will be a football game on one of the days (the ladies take on a team of girls from the school - they are really good!)
Are you on the group flight? Mum and I are flying in the day before so we'll see you there.
