Hi all, myself and my husband are doing this trip in June and wondered whether anyone else from the group is out there!

Very excited about returning to Peru - 8 weeks on Friday and counting!

Would be lovely to hear from you - and if you have any sleeping bag advice that would be great! Trying to sort out a very warm bag for me!

Lois

hello Lois - yes, I am! -

hello Lois - yes, I am! actually Im coming out early - this Sunday 20 June - to visit Machu Picchu and Cuzco and get a bit acclimatised. But I will no doubt see you both in Lima. Im getting very excited!! Ive never been to South America, let alone Peru, so cant wait!

have you heard from anyone else?

Assume you have your sleeping bag by now - Ive invested in a North Face superlight down one from Nomad http://www.nomadtravel.co.uk/catalog/browse/sleeping-bags/the-north-face-superlight-sleeping-bag which Im hoping will keep me cosy...

Not long noW -

Yours looks super warm, so sure you'll be fine. I'm making sure I have warms socks and layers for night, as think it will be chilly!

Haven't heard from anyone else, my husband asked the exodus person who else was going and I think there were 2 other definites, and  3 maybes. We've been to Peru before - did Inca trail etc 2 years ago - you'll love it! So excited about going back to the Andes, totally fell in love with the place last time!

I'm guessing you must be nearly packed by now? We have a bit more time - so just starting to try and get organised!

We arrive in Lima on the Friday evening I think, so a flying visit before the trip starts!

hi again -

Hi again Lois - nice to hear back from you. Im leaving for London tomorrow afternoon (from near York) so have kit all over the floor and keep stuffing bits in aimlessly then taking them out again - while also trying to finish off work at the PC!

But Im really excited! Look forward to meeting you both in a week's time - Im really pleased we have a relatively small group (more room on the mules if we get too tired!).

In the meantime, have a good journey....
