turkish activities - Gulet versus shore based

Hi there,

There are a few variations in the activities on each trip, for example diving is a main activity on one of the days on the Gulet Activity Cruise, but on the land based Lycian Activity week whitewater rafting is included.

On the Gulet Activity Cruise you will start in Kalkan and cruise down to Kas, and the day of cruising will be a nice relaxing day. The Lycian Activity week starts in Dalyan for the rafting, then transfers to Kas for the rest of the week. On both you will be able to go out in Kas in the evenings, as it is quite lively.

The Gulet Activity Cruise has all meals included, so you will need less money during your stay, whereas on the activity week you would go out to local restaurants each night, usually with the group, however these are not included. 

In terms of accommodation, there are the obvious differences between the twin bedded cabins of the Gulet boat and the twin rooms of the hotel used on the Lycian Activity week. There is also a pool at the hotel.

have just replied but it has lost it when I said to notify me of updates so i give up!

My Dr wouldn't sign my dive form so with prospect of having to pay for full medical with specialist dve doctor for just one dive I decided to do shore based which actually has a tad more activity time if I'm reading correctly!
