I will be travelling to China - taking the Imperial China and Yangtze River Cruise. I have been advised by my GP surgery to take Hepatatis A & tetanus vaccinations. They say that malaria tablets are not required. However, I have read that in certain areas of China, it is important to take Malaria tablets?
Anybody out there know anything about this or if somebody has been on this trip and can let me know?
There are no mandatory vaccination requirements for this trip, however it is advised that you are vaccinated against Polio, Tetanus, Diphtheria, Typhoid and Hepatitis A.
Taking malaria tablets in some parts of China is advised; we therefore suggest that you seek further advice from your GP or travel health clinic.
