Vietnam - swimming

Trip - AOV - VIETNAM ADVENTURE, Departure Date - Sunday 26th February 2012
Thinking when to go to Vietnam, will the sea be warm enough to swim in the sea without a wet suit in February/March? Would it be better to go in late October/November?

We did the Cycling Vietnam - 3rd Nov 2011 - 5:20pm
We did the Cycling Vietnam trip last March and were swimming in the South China sea off Mui Ne and in Halong Bay without wetsuits!
Never occured to us that we would need them. It was plenty warm, in fact my wife got sunburned legs snorkelling. Enjoy!!

The water is warm throughout the year. It might get a bit chilly in November/December, but still ok to swim without a wetsuit.
