Visa / Clothing
Hi
In regards to visa’s Exodus follows the advice of the British Foreign Office. They currently say- British passport holders require a visa to enter Zambia. Visas can be obtained from the Zambian High Commission in London. Visa fees for British nationals are US$50 for a single entry visa and US$80 for a multi-entry visa. Single entry visit visas are available at all ports of entry
It is normally fine to purchase a visa on the boarder. If you want to apply direct the High Commission you would need to check with them how busy they are at the moment and how long it will take to receive your visa.
Regarding clothes, I would recommend you come prepared for hot weather. You will need long sleeves and trousers to protect you against mosquito bites and you may choose to wear long trousers when walking in the bush. I would suggest you bring a range of clothes including shorts and t-shirts so you have appropriate clothing for the weather conditions.Enjoy your trip!
Hi there
I have no problem with sorting out the clothing on this trip but help on the footwear would be appreciated. On my other trips, walking boots have been required but on looking at some of the photos, sturdy sandals seem to be an option, particularly for the Delta etc. Am I thinking along the right lines here? Best to bring both?
Thanks
