Visiting Alhambra

Hi! If you wish to go to the Alhambra on your free day, the easiest way would be to get a taxi from the Cortijo to Almargen train station (approx €25 for a 20 mins journey) early enough to catch the 9:20 train arriving in Granada at 11.30. The last train to get back from Granada departs at 17.20. For the latest timetable please visit the Spanish Railways website www.renfe.es. Unfortunately there's no way for us to know in advance how many people intend to visit the Alhambra, perhaps some fellow travellers will read your message in the forum and get in touch.
