Excellent, looking forward to getting to know everyone very soon. Yes that desert looks very appealing after our endless winter... and it's snowing again. Mind, you all must be very fit which is daunting as you'll set the pace! I might need a head start.

Don't worry Donna, most of us haven't ridden a bike for years! You'll have no problem keeping up. We're more worried about being "saddle sore"!! We hope the gel seats we've bought work! Cheers

I think you're on a different trip. We're on the trek. I'd have preferred the cycling but it was full. You'll be just dust in the distance while we're trudging through the sand. I did the cycling through Mongolia last year. Gel seats are brilliant and we were cycling for a couple of weeks.

Can't wait to feel some sun! Just got back from  day out in London with  40 students - blue with cold. Got tube tickets to Heathrow this morning. Probably get to airport about midday. You staying in London overnight?
