walking boots

I wore proper walking boots.  It's not a difficult trek (it's not really a trek) but if you get what I got you'll have to clamber over the odd fallen tree, a stone wall and through lots of thick undergrowth.

When I did it there was a wealthy American family (they flew in by helicopter) who just wore trainers or flats, and they struggled.
