A week in Jordan

Hi, I'm also going on the trip to Jordan on 17 March and really looking forward to it. I'll be travelling alone (only slightly scary...) so look forward to meeting you and Jack. I'll be travelling from Northampton so unfortunately won't be able to share transport.

It's nice to see all the fellow travellers' messages - looking forward to meeting you all on our 'desert adventure'!  To those travelling alone, don't worry, I went alone on an Exodus trip to India and Nepal and everyone was very friendly.  It was nice to have the company, yet the independence - this sort of trip brings people together very quickly and the shared adventure, meals together, etc. makes for a lot of fun (we hope!).  My name is Victoria (nickname Toz, which I prefer) and 23 year old son Jack (a well-seasoned traveller, surprisingly agreed to make a trip with his 'old' Mum!).  See you in March... Hello all - I got back from this trip 2 weeks ago and had a great time.  I was travelling alone (for the first time) and met some really nice people so you don't need to worry on that front.  Your shared experiences (particularly of Petra) will bring you together in no time - and it is amazing!  Enjoy every minute.

Only a week to go to our Jordanian trip...

I thought it may be a good idea to try and meet up at Heathrow T3 to get the holiday off to a good start.  There is a place called The Bridge Bar and Eathing House in the Departure Lounge (after security).  Myself and Yvonne will be there for a pre flight drink, it would be nice if others could join us.  I will endeavour to get a picture of myself on this message board before we go.   Lorraine

Lorraine,  that's a really good idea.  I will  meet you and Yvonne there then.  We're leaving for Ammam at 16:00 so i assume you will be there at about 14:00.  ?
