Trip - TPD - INCA TRAIL, TITICACA & NAZCA, Departure Date - Saturday 28th August 2010
Hi there, I'm on this trip in September with two friends and would love some advice on suitable clothing for day and night, particularly on the trekking days. How cold will it get at night, and how hot during the day? As a very healthy insulin dependent diabetic I would also appreciate any advice on offer to help manage this condition during the trip, so do you have any feedback from other diabetics on how they managed their condition?

I did a similar trip a few years ago. If gets very cold on Lake Titicaca during the night, so take a hat! We ('er Indoors & me) slept in our clothes and crammed on to one bed under several very heavy blankets in the home we stayed at. It was brilliant!
Manage your insulin dependency just as you would in the UK, surely?
