I'd love to hear from anyone else who is joining this trip!
Well, hopefully you are in for a great experience. The trips are normally really well organised without being micro-managed. Most of the trips I have done before with Exodus have been high altitude - it is impossible to forecast how you will react to the altitude, but the two things I always do are (a) take it SLOW, and (b) drink a ridiculous amount of water. Dehydration seems to happen more at altitude and seems to exacerbate the impact of the high altitude. I have never taken anything specific (ie I guess you are talking about Diamox) - I know plenty of people who have done, but I have a problem with taking a drug for a condition that you should be able to deal with naturally!! Just my view... On this trip, we go from around 1400m in Kathmandu to around 3500m in Lhasa, so whatever you do, that's going to feel pretty odd for the first couple of days in Tibet!
Sorry for the essay!
