you are a sweetheart, I saw your posting & thought...too bad we didn't have the same dates.........actually I am off to jordan/cycling with explore.......then a few days in syria and back to cairo for the nile cruise.....message me at dianeclanton@aol.com direct
also, I was under impression you can get visa at airport

You lucky thing! Jordan should be fun - I only visited Petra and Wadi rum and loved it - all by myself! Syria is next on the list for 2011 so please do let me know how that went. And yes - it took me forever to have confirmation on Egypt visa on arrival - but I am reassured.
