I am doing this trip as well. I think we have about 9 hours in vancouver between flights.

Yep, me and my boyfriend Pete are on this trip! Really looking forward to it, we were looking to go out and do a bit of exploring in Vancouver too, so would be great to meet up with anyone else on the trip.

Excellent stuff, we will keep an eye out for a big red bag. I have a large black rucksack which will pretty much be all you will see of me as I am on the short side...my boyfriend Pete is pretty tall, black and blue bag. Probably should have said we'd all wear a pink carnation and carry a book or something!
