Going on the Zambezi Valley tour next year and was wondering a bit about the weather. I note from the trip notes that during June and July it can get cold at night. I was wondering does anyone know how cold. Being from up north in Scotland and used to camping in the Highlands at below freezing temperatures not sure my definition of cold is the same as everyone elses. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
I will still be taking a hat and fleece to keep comfortable but wondering if it is best to take my own sleeping bag if it is going to be very cold.
Looking forward to your replies.
I heard it can get as cold as ca 6 degrees celsius in the night...
I hope you'll have a wonderfull trip!
You can expect the night time temperatures to be on average 6 degrees celsius. The sleeping bags provided should be sufficiently warm, but if you are concerned about being cold, you might want to bring your own.
