Group Getaways - If you've got the group, we've got the trips
If you prefer to travel in a group made up of just your own friends or relatives you can book a private group departure on the majority of our holidays. Maybe you belong to a cycling or walking club who would like to venture outside the UK on an organised holiday together. Or you have a group of friends who’d like to summit a mountain to raise money for charity. If you get a big enough group together this can sometimes work out as a cheaper option to travelling on our standard group trips!
Exodus has been organising private group departures for over 35 years so we understand the particular and varied needs of our clients.
With this in mind we have a specialist Private Groups Department, which is run by Paula Mason . Paula is always happy to suggest and discuss itineraries and put together special packages. She has extensive experience of Exodus’ adventure travel portfolio and is a keen cyclist and walker.

Exodus organised a private departure for a group of 13 of us on the Spice Trails of Kerala trip in November 2011 – our 12th private trekking trip with Exodus since 1995. Other trips have taken us to places as varied as Ethiopia, Bhutan, Morocco and Guatemala.
As with most of our previous trips, the product provided on the ground in India was very good and our Trip Leader (Ajay) looked after us extremely well. The trekking crew were also well organised, cheerful and very helpful. As is often the case, we wanted to make a few adjustments to the standard itinerary for the trip. The local operator provided sound and helpful advice on our suggested changes and the final itinerary worked very well…
All in all, our trip to Kerala was another very successful trip (although we could have done without the leeches!)

Having previously taken the whole family on a great adventure in Egypt with Exodus, we couldn´t wait for another opportunity to go on an active family vacation in an exotic place. A biking trip in the countryside of Cuba sounded fascinating. The only problem was that there was an age limit for the biking groups that basically excluded us as a family from the very tempting trip. The great people at Exodus solved this, of course, brilliantly and we took off for an amazing private group tour biking along the Bay of Pigs, through villages along the scenic coastline and into the mountains. The hardware, the bikes, the bus were excellent - although jelly cushions for the seats became a recurring dream! The accompanying bus and Tomas made sure we had access to water, our luggage and rest whenever needed. Yaser, our friend, was the perfect biking guide for a curious family, very knowledgeable on history and contemporary matters, and receptive to our interests and needs. We got what we wished for - memories for life! Cultural biking in the Caribbean with Cuban music and dancing. Beat that!
