Ecuador is a wildlife enthusiast's paradise and this trip covers two contrasting but equally fascinating eco-systems

The beautiful Kapawi Lodge, deep in the Amazon Basin, is the perfect base from which to explore the rainforest both on foot and in canoe. After searching out fresh water dolphins, sloth, monkeys, caiman and many colourful species of bird, we can visit a local village, fish for piranha or relax amidst the sights and sounds of the jungle. The volcanic islands of the Galapagos are as diverse in their geography as they are in their wildlife. Due to their isolation, the birds and animals have no fear of man; close encounters are assured. Our comfortable, first class yacht is ideal for low impact tourism and for getting where the cruise ships can't.

Very disappointing trip to the Amazon.  Because of weather and transport problems some of the group only had one night…
