Countries Visited: Argentina, Brazil
Amazing birdwatching, mighty waterfalls, coastal rainforest and fascinating cities

The verdant mountains and sweeping beaches of Rio de Janeiro offer a great contrast with the wide avenues, grand buildings and rich cultural scene of Buenos Aires, the ‘Paris of South America’. On our journey between the two, we visit the wetlands of the Pantanal, home to an astounding variety of bird and animal species, snorkel along Bonito’s azure rivers, and explore the thundering Iguassu Falls.
As well as discovering these natural and man-made jewels we also enjoy a lazy day sailing on a schooner close to the sleepy fishing village of Paraty and some free time on the untouched beaches of Brazil’s ‘Green Coast’.
