Watching the Rio Carnival parade from grandstand seats may be the highlight of this trip but it is far from all Rio has to offer. One of the most beautiful cities in the world, aside from Carnival, Rio has a wealth of other attractions including Christ the Redeemer, Sugar Loaf, Copacabana and the Atlantic Rainforest, all of which we discover on our comprehensive city tour. Aside from the Rio Carnival parades, parties and balls, there is time for relaxing around the pool or on the beaches, visits to the handicraft markets and a chance to see a football game at the world's largest stadium (optional).

| Day 4 | Free day to explore Rio or recover from the Carnival parade, perhaps on one of Rio's incredible beaches (Copacabana, Leblon, Ipanema, Flamengo) |
