Brazil's size means it encompasses an extraordinary variety of natural habitats and scenery, ranging from the thundering Iguassu Falls to the tranquil sun-soaked beaches of the tropical northeast coast. We spend a few days taking in the sights in lively Rio de Janeiro before setting off on a trip which takes in some of the country's natural highlights, with activities including rainforest walks and boat rides at Iguassu, fantastic bird watching and canoeing in the Pantanal, and the opportunity to see turtles nesting in Praia do Forte.
