This was a fanstastic trip!! Though we had rain on several days, we managed to hit the weather right so that there was brilliant sunshine on the days that we spent walking, and the sites were breathtaking!

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
There were inspirational moments throughout the trip. The walks were a partcular highlight - especially the hike up to the view point at the top of the national park island. I also really enjoyed walking the old city walls in Dubrovnik and visiting Mostar.
What did you think of your group leader?

Krsto was honestly one of the best parts of our trip. He fostered a warm & friendly atmosphere and always kept things light and humorous. It would definitely not have been such a positive experience without him there.

Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
This trip is definitely worth doing!! The optional hike and Mostar trips are a must!!
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Just to say, again, the trip was fantastic, and Krsto in particular deserves a lot of credit for that!!

Sunshine and laughter, warm seas, cold beers.  Peaceful idyllic islands, hectic Dubrovnik.  Cutural, classic and unhurried.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

The serenity of Mijet Island National Park.

The hustle and bustle of the "cruise ants" around Dubrovnik.

Food, glorious food - freshest seafood, crispy pizzas, gooey pastries, gelato of every flavour imaginable!

What did you think of your group leader?

Dalibor was excellent, professional and efficient.  Underwent his duties with care, consideration and with his

    sense of humour

Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

Don't bother taking Kuna's - you'll get a much better rate of exchange once you're there.

Travel light - it's all very casual.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

I would have liked an extra night in Trogir, a really pretty harbourside old town.

We all ate together every night, which although great fun we did pay the price - not in Kuna's however, just the length of time it took to for meals to appear, but hey ho we're on holiday and when it did arrive it was scrummy.  We just had to have another glass of wine whilst we waited - no hardship there!

Croatia is still very unspoilt in parts, beautiful islands, bays, scenery and people - a world away from your "bucket and spade" brigade.  Hospitality was generous and gracious.

Put it on your "to go" list - and make it soon!!

Great combination of history, culture and terrific landscape

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
The magical island or Korcula. I was expecting Dubrovnik to be the star of the show and that was great but Korcula is magnificent. The view down on the old town on its peninsular jutting into the sea is unforgettable.
What did you think of your group leader?
The leader can make or break a trip and Edo, our group leader, was fantastic. At first sight he's a huge bear of a guy but very friendly, totally reliable and unstingly helpful. He ran himself ragged to make the trip run smoothly. I can't praise him highly enough.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
If travelling in the summer be prepared for the heat - we had 32c-37c - and no air-con in the hotel in Korcula!
Is there anything else you would like to add?
I have been on many Exodus trips and they have all been good but this was one of the best. A great, friendly country and a terrific group leader made it a truly memoranle experience.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
Trogir was really pleasant for the first part and the day in split. Time in Dubrovnik was excellent and the opportunity to go to Mostar was well worth it.
What did you think of your group leader?
Our leader Edo was first rate
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
July is very hot. Air conditioning is limited, and there is a 2.5h boat crossing where you cannot go on deck. The plane food is not very exciting. But don't let those put you off.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
the whole group went to Mostar, infact it seemed the whole world was in Mostar that day. The trip was exceptional value.

Really great trip, a nice mix of organised activities and free time, good bunch of people, lovely food and plentiful beer! Four unesco heritage sites and two passport stamps in a week - pretty good going!

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

Many highlights - some that spring to mind were:

    • Walking the walls of Dubrovnik
    • View from the top of the "mountain" on the island of Miljet
    • The seafood platter at Mali Ston on the peninsula
    • Korcula old town from the boat
What did you think of your group leader?
Great - entertaining and knowledgeable, and the right level of laidback and organised!
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

Go on the day trip to Mostar, its well worth it. I'd read some previous reviews that said it wasn't - but decided that I definitely wanted to go just to get the extra stamp in the passport! However, although it was about a 2 and a half hour drive each way, Mostar is great, the views on the way are beautiful and the countryside is really interesting. We stopped at different places in both directions and it was really great to see how different Bosnia and the interior of Croatia are from the coast and the islands.

Other advice is to take some warm clothes - in April most of our group misjudged the temperature, especially in the evenings!

Is there anything else you would like to add?
    Great trip, thoroughly recommend!

Croatia was a real gem with beautiful walled towns, lovely people and reasonable prices (as not in the Euro)

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

All the towns seem to have been frozen in time.

Korcula, on the peninsula is a beautiful small walled town, with plenty of places to walk, and great restaurants.

    Dubrovnik is stunning.

Split and Trigor are great for wandering around the narrow streets and finding local bars.

What did you think of your group leader?
Krsto was excellent.  He was professional but laid back at the same time so never felt like he was in your face.  Everything was organised perfectly.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

The day trip to Mostar in Bosnia is a long trip, but worth it.  But take Euros - you seemed to get the same exchange rate for Euros as Sterling.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
Great week trip - you see and do loads, but because distances arent too far, you dont feel rushed and you have plenty of time to see everything.  Also Trogir is only 10 minutes from the airport so you are quickly at the resort.

A nice leisurely trip, with a group of like minded people. A good snapshot of the Dalmatian coast. Great scenery and good food.  No long travel days which is good on a short trip.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

Walking around the walls of Dubrovnik, after the guided tour- the views were great

The views from Montokuc on Mljet – worth the effort

    Cocktails in the tower (Korcula)

What did you think of your group leader?

Very good. Always happy to answer any of our questions. Good at keeping us organised, but without making us feel hurried. Though he wanted to tell/shows us more around places like Split he couldn't due to guide regulations, but was always on hand for a suggestion of something interesting we should see.

Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

If you go for the walk up the Montokuc on Mljet buy some lunch in the shop on the island. Our climb took longer then expected and as a result we didn't get back in time to order food from the restaurant before the boat back – but there was time for a well deserved quick pint!

If you are getting any Kuna before you depart it's handy to have some 10s, 20s, & 50 notes. One course meal and drink can vary between 80-150. If you have smaller denominations it just makes life easier (Instead of everyone trying to break 200 notes)

Like others I wasn't initially sure about going to Mostar, but glad I went. Though the drive was 3+ hours it was good to see another country/culture. As many of the group reasoned -you're more likely to return to Dubrovnik for a long weekend, then to pop to Mostar.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

Personally I would have liked it if we had a local guide for Split/Korcula town for an hour or two, to give us an overview of these two places (Like we had for Dubrovnik) .   Though saying that, sometimes just walking around on your own is a good way to see a place

Overall its a nice leisurely trip, ideal if you want a relaxing holiday with good food and culture
