Explore majestic moorish cities of Seville and Cordoba and the White Villages

Our base for our adventure holidays in Spain is the Cortijo Rosario, surrounded by arable land and rolling hills dotted with olive trees and sunflowers. The countryside is tranquil, timeless and the area is rich in Moorish history. From the great cities of Seville and Cordoba to a stunning horse show in Jerez, there is a wealth of culture to indulge in.
After witnessing the dancing horses demonstrate their mastery of dressage, there is the opportunity to enjoy a tour of the world famous sherry bodegas. This is a relaxing trip combining cultural highlights and the peace of the Andalucian countryside with great food and wine.
Look out for special weeks where you can learn and practise Spanish whilst exploring the cities and 'White Villages' of Andalucia (see Dates and Prices page).
SPANISH LANGUAGE WEEK
Learn Spanish while you relax in our comfortable lodge in the Andalucian countryside, then enjoy using your newly learnt skills as you explore Moorish cities and Pueblos Blancos. Short sessions during the week from our experienced local teacher will provide basic language skills, which you can practise with the Spanish staff, helping you feel like a local in no time. Please see dates and prices page for departures.

On our selected departure (31st March) of this holiday you will benefit from a free cooking demonstration. Learn to make Gazpacho soup, Sangria and a giant Paella on the poolside terrace and enjoy eating the end result. We're also throwing in a fabulous Cortijo Cookbook so that you can take all the wonderful recipes of your week home with you.
