Inscriptions at the temple of Kom Ombo.

This trip is a must for those who have ever marvelled at the long history of this unique country.

As we take this unforgettable journey, we gain an real insight in to a truly fascinating ancient civilisation. In addition to the classic archaeological sites, we visit places our other itineraries do not: Egypt's largest oasis at Al Fayoum, the impressive workmen's village on Luxor's West Bank and the funerary temple of Ramses III.

There is also an optional visit to the temples at Dendara and the vast necropolis of Abydos.

With group lectures we are able to get a greater understanding of these special sites and our qualified Egyptologist is always on hand to answer any questions.

A trip not to be missed as we bring the ancient Egyptian world back to life.

What makes this trip responsible?

After the “Tahrir Square” revolution earlier in 2011, numbers of tourists visiting Egypt has been at its lowest for years. By visiting Egypt we are directly contributing to rebuilding this ailing industry and giving local businesses and communities a boost during this difficult time for them.
