Egypt has an enthralling history and a wealth of well-preserved monuments and treasures. This trip allows you to visit all the sites and attractions along the Nile in a comfortable fashion. From the last remaining wonder of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids at Giza, to the vibrant Nubian culture at Aswan, this trip incorporates all the significant places of interest. We board our Nile cruise boat at Luxor. The relaxed 3-night journey through the verdant Nile Valley makes this tour one of our most popular. We watch traditional life pass by as we travel downstream, visiting Edfu and Kom Ombo along the way. The great sunsets and the beauty of the lush green landscape surrounding the Nile make this a great way to travel. A thoroughly enjoyable trip.

Itinerary

Day 1	Fly to Cairo.
Day 2	A day tracing the evolution of the Pyramids; overnight train to Luxor.
Day 3	Explore the West Bank: Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut's Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. Afternoon free.
Day 4	Visit Karnak and Luxor Temples. Board the cruise boat and sail to Esna.
Day 5 - 6	Cruise down the Nile visiting Edfu and Kom Ombo en route.
Day 7	Free day in Aswan; optional visits to the Nubian Museum and Philae Temple or explore the surrounding islands.
Day 8	Optional visit to Abu Simbel in the morning; afternoon free. Overnight train to Cairo.
Day 9	Tour of the famous Archaeological Museum, the Citadel and the Old Town of Cairo.
Day 10	Free day to explore Cairo, or optional visit to Alexandria.
Day 11	Fly to London.
