Day 1: Fly to Cairo.
Day 2: Tour of the famous Archaeological Museum; to Pyramids at Giza and Sphinx. Overnight train to Luxor.
Day 3: Morning visit Karnak and Luxor Temples; afternoon at leisure.
Day 4: Morning exploration of the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut's Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. Free afternoon.
Day 5: Train to Aswan; optional afternoon visit to Philae Temple.
Day 6: Optional Felucca ride to Elephantine Island and Botanical Gardens on Kitchener's Island; optional afternoon camel ride to St Simeon Monastery.
Day 7: Optional visit to Abu Simbel in the morning; overnight train to Cairo.
Day 8: Free day or optional tour of the Pyramids of Saqqara and Dashour.
Day 9: Fly to London.
