An iconic journey through the dramatic landscapes of the southwest

From the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco to the glittering city of Las Vegas, we take in the diverse highlights of the American southwest.
The scale of Yosemite's pine-clad cliffs, waterfalls and giant sequoia will amaze along with the dark red hue of Zion's sheer rock walls.
Walking amongst the multi-coloured stone towers (hoodoos) at Bryce Canyon is perhaps the most enchanting experience as each one seems to come alive in the changing sunlight.
We save the best for last, ending our exploration with two days hiking at the incredible Grand Canyon - a mile deep and stretching for 277 miles!
Every unforgettable moment of this classic journey will leave you in awe.
What makes this trip responsible?
When hiking we stick to marked trails to reduce our impact on the local environment and we camp in the designated grounds regulated by each National Park. Throughout the trip we employ a ‘leave no trace’ policy in regard to litter - everything taken into the park is taken out to preserve the local environment. We recycle wherever possible on the trip and all leaders are trained in responsible tourism to enable them to follow best practice and enforce our ‘leave no trace’ policy. We encourage all clients to use reusable water bottles and re-fill them from taps rather than throwing away plastic bottles. Local shuttle services are used for transportation within national parks and entrance fees paid to the parks visited support conservation efforts. The maximum group size on this trip is restricted to 13 in order to reduce the environmental impacts of visiting remote areas.
