The geology, natural history and scenery make this part of Canada hugely attractive for the adventurous traveller and this tour encompasses all these aspects, exploring the mountains, glaciers, ice-caps, forests, hot springs, wildlife and rainforest at Vancouver Island.
This itinerary is designed to give us an in-depth view of some of the most spectacular areas. We have tried to keep the travelling to a minimum, as this is really 'outdoors' country, but remember Canada is vast and there is inevitably a significant amount of travelling.
This is a very active trip and although none of the excursions or optional activities are particularly demanding, a good level of stamina is useful if you want to undertake all of them!

The vast majority of Exodus adventures are adult group holidays. Groups are always small in size. We strongly believe that this adherence to small groups means a better experience for all; more time with your guide, less waiting around and a reduced impact on the communities and environments visited.

In order to provide a more accurate grading system, where a trip falls between two grades we use an intermediate or split grade, for example Leisurely/Moderate. Mixed Activities: Activities may range from the ordinary (for example walking, cycling or whitewater rafting) to the damn right extraordinary (including caving, camel riding or canyoning).

Wilderness: Visit the deserts, jungles, plateaux, tundra and mountains of all seven continents, including Antarctica.
