  your trip notes do not tally with Intrepid trip notes !!!   When I got to Manila, Dustin told us about the 3 days BACKPACKING in the rice terraces , you do not make this as  clear as Intrepid do in their notes. I would not have booked this trip if I had known I had to carry my pack plus water for 3 days, I had to hire a porter as I found it too hard. !

  What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

  Mt Pinatubo crater.

  What did you think of your group leader?

  Dustin was very good, especially when we had a car crash in torrential rain .  He treated the passengers from the other car for cuts etc.  Also re arranged our trip when Olga  was ill and the camping was cancelled.

  Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

  Take a smaller bag  for your 3 days back packing , and for the 3 days on White beach, as your luggage remains in Manila !!! 

  Is there anything else you would like to add?

  Very hard walking but well worth it.

  Dear Christine,  I'm glad to hear that you had an amazing trip, despite a couple of mishaps. This was the first departure that we have run on this trip in partnership with our sister company, Intrepid, so it is great to read your feedback and hear what was good about the trip and on the other hand where we can improve things. I have now updated our trip notes to bring them in line with Intrepid’s, and have made sure to specifically highlight that the tour involves 3  days trekking carrying your own overnight pack in the rice terrace region around Banaue. I imagine (and hope) that the scenery throughout this trek made it worth the challenge? I’m extremely sorry to hear that you were involved in an incident on the road; I have received the leader’s incident report and it seems that it was an unfortunate event and there was nothing more that could have been done to prevent it.
