Start St Petersburg.
Day 2
Boat tour of the city's canals and waterways.
Day 3
Free morning; overnight train to Vladimir.
Day 4
Train to Suzdal; walking tour of the historic centre.
Day 5
Private bus to Moscow.
Day 6
City tour including Lenin Mausoleum, the Kremlin and Red Square.
Day 7
Free morning in Moscow; board Trans-Siberian Express to Irkutsk (90 hrs).
Day 8 - 10
On board train.
Visit Lake Baikal with time for plenty of optional activities.
Day 12
Experience the unique Banya (Russian steam bath).
Day 13
Free morning to explore Irkutsk; board the train to Mongolia (40 hrs).
Day 14
On board train.
Day 15
Arrive Ulaan Baatar; city tour and optional visit to school project.
Day 16
Visit Gorkhi-Terelj N.P. and hike to a Buddhist retreat; overnight ger camp.
Day 17
Return to our hotel in Ulaanbaatar.
Day 18
Travel from Ulaan Baatar to Beijing by train (30 hrs).
Day 19
Arrive Beijing.
Day 20
Full day trip to the Great Wall of China.
Day 21
End Beijing.
