The Galapagos Islands are beautiful, unspoilt and unique, a haven for birds, reptiles and marine life, a truly once in a lifetime experience!

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
Snorkelling with Sharks, Sea Turtles, Rays, Sea Lions and numerous brightly coloured fish. The Boobie birds did not move when we approached, just looked up at us. The wildlife was so tame and the Islands beautiful!!
What did you think of your group leader?
Hansel was very knowledgable and helpful and although initially slow to assess the capabilities of the group, once he had asassessed us he made sure everyone got as much as they could out of all the different experiences. He was good fun.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

We were on Itinerary A which involved snorkelling at least once every day but one. We are not strong swimmers but the crew were fantastic and the Zodiac boats were never far away and always ready to come to our aid if needed. It was an amazing experience which we will always remember. The equipment on the boat is first class and the marine life better than expected. The food was amazing and plentiful.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

The Queen Beatrix is a first class boat, all the cabins are large and well equipped, the crew were fantasic and could not be more helpful. The experience is exceptionally well managed as we hardly ever saw another group, it felt as if we were the only people on the islands and in the sea. Every day was busy and different, both visiting a different Island and a new snorkelling experience.
