Day 1	Depart London.
Day 2	Arrive Colombo, short transfer to Marawila; free afternoon.
Day 3	To Sigiriya.
Day 4	Visit remains of ancient sites of Polonnaruwa and and Sigiriya. Climb the rock fortress at Sigiriya (optional).
Day 5	Visit extraordinary cave temples in Dambulla via spice garden; to Kandy; visit the Temple of the Tooth.
Day 6	Excursion to old colonial hill station of Nuwara Eliya via Botanical Gardens and Gem Museum.
Day 7	Free day in Kandy to explore the lake area.
Day 8	To Colombo, afternoon free to explore city.
Day 9 - 12	Fly from Colombo to Male, then four nights in a beachside hotel enjoying the spectacular Indian Ocean beaches of the Maldives.
Day 13	Fly to London.
