Sacred cities and temples, national parks and magnificent mountains; a classic journey from the plains of northern India to the mountain Kingdom of Nepal

Delhi has had many rulers and a turbulent history, whereas the fabled city of Kathmandu was virtually cut off from the rest of the world until the last half century, and has been described as having more temples than houses and more gods than people.
To travel between these two diverse cities is one of the most beautiful and fascinating journeys in Asia. For culture vultures the Taj Mahal, the 'pink city' of Jaipur, the holy city of Varanasi or the Buddhist Stupas of Kathmandu may be the highlight whilst for those more interested in nature's treasures, spotting rhino on an early morning elephant ride through Chitwan National Park or the first view of the mighty Himalaya will never be forgotten.
There is also the option to sample trekking in Nepal, in case you want to return and try one of our specialist Nepal trekking holidays in the future!
