Reality Check
The roads are generally pretty good throughout, but road conditions can vary and are obviously very different from those in the west.
Local traffic and/or road damage after the monsoon can sometimes slow us down.
We travel mainly on comparatively quiet roads for at least half of the journey. The tour is not overly demanding, but the bustle of Delhi, Agra and Amritsar can be a little overwhelming at first.

Normally 5 to 16; usually led by Philippa or Jeremy Russell, long-term residents of Dharamsala. Minimum age 16.
