Essential Information
Trip Profile
Working on the projects is far from compulsory on this trip but a willingness and attitude to muck in will be useful. Four days project work are included and a further optional day. Some long drives to be expected on days 6 and 9 of the tour.
Accommodation
Most of the accommodation on this trip is in good quality hotels (mostly 3-star) and all hotels have either fans or air conditioning. We will normally have twin rooms with private facilities.
During this trip we spend one night on the sleeper train from Vientiane to Bangkok and although the journey is quite comfortable (with bedding provided), facilities are of course more basic. We aim to guarantee all clients in the same cabins, yet some may have to share with non-Exodus clients.
Food
11 breakfasts included.
Reality Check
On this itinerary, the highlights of Laos and Cambodia are showcased whilst allowing you ample time to get involved with our new Responsible Tourism projects. This is your chance to give something back to remote communities based near Luang Prabang, Vang Vieng and Siem Reap.
Normal group size and age
Normally 6 to 18, plus Andy Mckee and appropriate local guides/drivers where needed. Minimum age 18.
Icons explained
The vast majority of Exodus adventures are adult group holidays. Groups are always small in size. We strongly believe that this adherence to small groups means a better experience for all; more time with your guide, less waiting around and a reduced impact on the communities and environments visited.
Each group is generally made up of like-minded travellers - with singles, couples and friends all joining in together.
All these trips are suitable for single travellers, but if you prefer to travel with clients booking individually, please
see our Solo Departures page.
Designed for people who are in good health, enjoy the outdoors and want a relaxing trip packed with interest.
Culture: Let Exodus show you a different side to many of the world's greatest cultural attractions.
