Chefchaouen

Morocco is incredibly rich in history, culture and atmosphere; starting in Fez, famed for the winding alleyways of its huge medina and 8th century university, we head west to discover the Imperial City of Meknes and ancient Roman site of Volubilis. Turning north we climb into the Rif Mountains and here we'll take time to wander round Chefchaouen and the Andalucian town of Tetouan. Our week ends in the cosmopolitan coastal town of Tangiers, a true gateway to the Africa continent.

FEZ TO TANGIERS
Day 1
Fly to Fez.
Day 2
Guided tour of Fez, one of the world's finest Islamic cities.
Day 3
Visit the well-preserved Roman site of Volubilis and the Imperial City of Meknes.
Day 4
Travel to Chefchaouen over the dramatic Rif Mountains.
Day 5
A day to explore the town of Chefchaouen, a town considered sacred by Moroccans as it was founded by the descendants of Mohammed.
Day 6
Visit Tetouan; continue to Tangiers.
Day 7
Full day's guided tour of Tangiers including the Grand Socco.
Day 8
Fly to London.
