A fantastic holiday with a fantastic group of people.  Very well organised, brilliant group leader, hassle-free.  Just the right mixture of things to do - high-energy city visits; relaxing mountain walk; exciting camel rides - something for everyone!

A taste of Morocco in one week.  This packs it all in but is not too tiresome.  An excellent variety of experiences that leaves you wanting more!  I absolutely loved every minute of this holiday.

A dramatic, daunting yet exciting country is Morocco. From desert landscapes to high luscious green mountains this trip is one to take especially for the price. If undecided I'd say do it, add it to your visited list!

Terrific leader & great group. There were mixed ages & we all fitted in one mini bus so it was very cohesive - an initial worry for me as a solo traveller - 1st time with Exodus. It was very busy - I would have liked a little "free" time to gather my thoughts & read or draw.

This holiday had a great mix of organsied visits, downtime and time to explore by yourself. It visited the best places in the areas we went to, which were also very diverse.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

The trip was brilliant, we spent an amazing few days away from the husstle and bustle and climbed the amazing Atlas mountains- totally breathtaking. Then spent the last few days back in city life-seeing Marrakech at its finiest. A well orgainsed trip- great value for money, especially if you are time limited for your trip. Well worth it

  • Great Camel Ride, Great Sunset!!!

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

The camel ride to and from the Berber camp at Zagora. We were treated to a spectacular sunset as well and sleeping out under the starts is an experience i will never forget (wow!!!). Essaouria was a nice ending to the trip too. The weather prevented our planned hike in the Atlas, however, a eventful time trying to cross a flooded river because of a flash flood provided more entertainment than anyone bargained for. Ait Ben Haddou was really good too - it and some of the Kasbahs (fortified buildings or villages in the Atlas Mountains) reminded me slightly (construction-wise) of the palaces, viliages and monasteries in Tibet and Ladakh at a distance. I also found Marrakesh enjoyable, however, I take Exodus trips to get away from the touristy stuff and in Marrakesh, it hits you face on - I'm not a shopaholic (just get enough to give my friends souvenirs)!!! That said, the performers in the main square were, lets say, interesting (gave me a laugh) and it was still interesting to see the range of goods in the souk (market). The less said about the belly dancers in Marrakesh, the better (no, nothing untoward happened)!!!
