This holiday had a great mix of organsied visits, downtime and time to explore by yourself. It visited the best places in the areas we went to, which were also very diverse.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
Watching the sun rise in the Sahara desert on Christmas day.
What did you think of your group leader?
Our leader was always helpful, full of information and always new the best place to go for dinner!
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Always carry extra toilet paper, take lots of warm clothes and a good sleeping bag if going in the winter months and leave any spare days in Marrakech until the end, because the is no guarantee where the tour giude there will take you, and he is worth sticking with.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
It would have been nice to have been taken to a range of places to eat, not just the higher end of the market restaurants.

Fantastic weekly long winter break with bags of variety all in 8 days - Camel & Desert, Kasbashs, walking in Atlas mountains, time to chill out at the coast & time to shop in Marrakesh.  Loved Morocco will definitely be back

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

Staying in the Gite in the Atlas Mountians - away from everything and walks gave stunning panaroma over to snow capped peaks

What did you think of your group leader?
    Great

Watch Royal Air Morcoco - transferring in Casablanca was an interesting experience - 8/9 of us managed to miss the transfer - don't trust the gate on the ticket or what the gate people are calling/not calling

  • Try everything and you won't be disappointed

What did you think of your group leader?
Mustaphe was wonderful: patient, knowledgeable, engaging and funny. He was clearly very proud of his country and wanted to share that with us. Our group was very diverse: different ages, different incomes, different fitness levels but we all felt included and all needs were met.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
This is a whistle stop, high energy taster of Morocco. Alot of ground is covered both culturally and geographically. Each day was full and we were all pleasantly weary at the end of each day.  The accommodation ranges from basic to comfortable so is not for those who enjoy their luxuries. Morrocco is a developing country: it's proximity to Europe makes some forget that it is still part of Africa. To that end, plumbing and electricity is "intermittent" but all our hotels and lodgings were very clean and very safe.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
If you have stamina, an open mind and a sense of adventure then do the Marrakesh Sahara trip. When you get back home you'll ask yourself "Did I really sleep under the stars in the Sahara? Did I really trek on camels? Did I really climb to a height of 2380m and look across valleys to the snow capped Atlas Mountains in the distance?"  The answer will be "yes" and you will be a better person for it.

What did you think of your group leader?
He was not great with communicaion for meeting times in the morning. Maybe it is just a culture difference and we are more ruled by time in the uk??
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

I didnt take enough clothes!! You will have to right off one pair of trousers from the camel ride. I just didnt pack enough stuff!! Oops!

Be prepared to sit in a minibus for quite a few hours and also not get a great deal of sleep.  But if you wanna see and do loads in the time then its ideal!

Is there anything else you would like to add?
It was a great trip, can definately recommend it to anyone.

The trip was brilliant, we spent an amazing few days away from the husstle and bustle and climbed the amazing Atlas mountains- totally breathtaking. What did you think of your group leader?
Our group leader was brilliant, he had taught himself to speak English and was keen to learn more English words & phrases.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Always take your own loo roll when travelling it has a multitude of uses apart from the obvious!
Is there anything else you would like to add?
I would recommend an Exodus holiday to anyone who has a spirit of adventure.  It's a big world out there - go out and find it.
