Countries Visited: Peru
Culture, wildlife and archaeology in Peru's highland and jungle regions.

The scope of Peru's geography and history is enormous, and our feature-packed itinerary provides an excellent introduction, from the vast Inca ruins on the barren altiplano to the dense rainforest of the Amazon Basin. Cuzco, the timeless capital of both the Incas and Conquistadores, is our gateway to the lost city of Machu Picchu, the Incas' most famous and mysterious site. We overnight on Lake Titicaca, the world's highest navigable lake, and fly to the Amazon Basin for an expedition deep into the jungle.

The Rainbow Centre, Kiya Survivors
Kiya Survivors is a registered Peruvian charity providing safe and loving educational and rehabilitation centres for children with special needs. It is the first school dedicated to special-needs children in the Sacred Valley and now 40 children attend regularly. Since the centre opened, Kiya Survivors has provided support to over 200 children as well as providing help on many social issues to other members of the local communities in which it works. Kiya Survivors at the Rainbow Centre is available to visit on almost all our trips that pass through Cuzco.
