Price Includes

A 16-day trip from London, with time spent exploring Cuzco and Machu Picchu before travelling through cloud forest to the Amazon Rainforest. Accommodation is in a variety of remote lodges and research stations in the Manu National Park, all with expert naturalist guides, and much of the travel is by boat, allowing us to navigate the rivers and get deep into the forest.

Accommodation

7 nights hotels with en suite facilities, 5 nights rainforest lodges and 1 night permanent tented camp.

Food

13 breakfasts, 6 lunches and 6 dinners included.

Reality Check

The second half of the trip visits very remote areas, many only accessible by long drives or boat journeys, and we spend much of our time in lodges far away from civilisation with limited facilities. Electricity is not always provided in rooms, and accommodation can be fairly basic, although we also use some more comfortable lodges to provide a balance. There will be lots of early starts, not only because of the long journeys, but also to maximise chances of seeing the birds and animals which are more active in the early morning. This trip spends several days at altitudes up to around 3500m, and also visits areas where precautions against malaria, Yellow Fever and Dengue Fever are required - please see the warnings under the Health section below.

Normal group size and age

Normally 6 to 12, plus leader and local naturalist guides. Minimum age 18.

Adult Group Holidays The vast majority of Exodus adventures are adult group holidays. Groups are always small in size. We strongly believe that this adherence to small groups means a better experience for all; more time with your guide, less waiting around and a reduced impact on the communities and environments visited.
Each group is generally made up of like-minded travellers - with singles, couples and friends all joining in together. All these trips are suitable for single travellers, but if you prefer to travel with clients booking individually, please see our Solo Departures page.

Leisurely Designed for people who are in good health, enjoy the outdoors and want a relaxing trip packed with interest.

Leisurely Exodus is always looking to improve our current itineraries and to offer something different. With many new trips this year, there is something unique and different to try every year.

Wildlife Wildlife: Trips may be wholly wildlife focused, or contain an element of wildlife viewing within a less specific itinerary.
