A fascinating tour rich in natural diversity and steeped in history

This is a great chance to visit some of the hidden gems from the former Czechoslovakia, including some of the most historically and naturally significant areas of Slovakia.
We introduce the beautiful region of southern Moravia in the Czech Republic, which is famed for its wine growing and home to vast wine cellars, including some used by the Templar Knights.
The cultural heritage is superb, with an array of castles, chateaux, towns and villages dating from the middle ages onwards. There are also visits to the Tatra and Pieniny Mountains that form some of the region's natural borders, as well as being home to natural phenomena such as the Dobsinska Ice Cave and the stunning Dunajec Gorge.
What makes this trip responsible?
We have established a long term partnership with a local operator, who is committed to promoting tourism as a means of income throughout Central Europe, in particular to the rural communities of Slovakia and the Czech Republic. As such, outside of big cities, we stay in locally-run accommodation, and use local guides and transport companies.
