Travel is by minibus. Good level of fitness required for walks.

Price Includes

Four days staying in a local pension with en suite facilities. Breakfasts and packed lunches are included. A good level of fitness and sense of adventure is required as the area is rugged and we have permission from the national park to venture off the main trails in search of the local residents.

Reality Check

In order to make the most of this trip, we will be spending two very full days out walking in the National Park, encountering varying terrain.

A good level of fitness is therefore needed as we cover a fair amount of ground as we endeavour to spot bears and experience this wild and rugged habitat at its best.

We will be accompanied by a group leader, as well as a Park Ranger. The ranger will choose our routes based on local conditions, and may well take us off the more established hiking trails.
