If you are looking for a fun and relaxing exodus holiday rather than the usual full on daily hyke up hill and down dale I would definately recomend this trip. You can watch the beautiful scenery unfold all around you, spot wildlife (turtles mating, Baracuda, blue birds, and a rather stunned tortoise), Lie on deck spotting shooting stars and enjoy getting to know fab turkish cooking as taught by the tour leaders mother. Added to this are sights of interest, brilliant photographic opportunities, and plenty of laughs. I came home feeling totaly relaxed and ready to start my new job.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
The infinate shades of blue turquiose and aquamairne in the sky and water. Getting up early one morning to take pictures and having a random conversation with an elderly lady sitting outside her house in the sunshine. Of course we couldn't understand a word of each others speech but the nodding pointing and smiling more than compensated. Turtles mating at sea stuppendous (possibly a bit distracting for them though)Flowers everywhere in any available pot or plastic tub.
What did you think of your group leader?
I thought that the group leader was very professional and managed to accomodate most otf the needs and preferences of the group. He was well informed about his country, interesting, and obliging
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
don't pack to much you really don't need it but if you are going earlier in the year make sure you bring something warm and a decent sleeping bag. Leave some easy to grab clothes for the first night near the top of your bag. If you are vegetarian don't ecpect huge amounts of variety in your diet. If your not enjoy the freshness of the food. Be liberal with the sun cream. Learn to play backgamon, expect to loose.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Embrace the experience as fully as any travell opportunity and you will be rewarded with smiles and memeories.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?

Being away from all the hustle and bustle of cities and tourist resorts. It was fantastic to be able to moor up for the evening, take one final swim before having pre-dinner beers with the rest of the group. Then settling down to an evening of home-cooked food and good conversation.

It's almost of holiday of back to basics - whilst on the boat, there really is no point dressing up or wearing make-up and the simple pleasures are the best - cold water and the sound of water lapping against the boat (although we also liked the crocodile canoe!!)

What did you think of your group leader?
To be perfectly honest he was a little immature - he didn't seem to adapt to the varying tastes of the group who generally seemed to want to chill out whereas he wanted to party!
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?

We didn't sleep in the tents at all during the trip as it would have been far too hot. Instead, we either slept on deck or in the (slightly claustrophoic) cabins. Sleeping on deck is great but I would suggest taking earplugs (to reduce the disturbances of fellow passengers) and a sheet rather than sleeping bag.

Best way to wake up - a morning swim before breakfast.

Take the opportunity to visit the Turkish baths - the massage was excellent and thorough if a tiny bit painful and great value overall.
