Some of western civilization's most impressive historical sites

Turkey is quite simply one of the most important countries in the development of the western world.
Over the centuries it has provided a geographical and cultural bridge between Asia and Europe and has a host of fascinating places to discover. We start in modern-day Istanbul and travel through Cappadocia, visiting temples, amphitheatres, castles and ruined cities, ranging in period from the ancient Anatolian Kingdoms to the lavish Ottoman Empire.
On our adventure holidays in Turkey we visit the memorials of Gallipoli and the harsh mountains of the Anatolian plateau, with plenty of highlights to satisfy those wanting to immerse themselves in the diverse culture and history of the Turkish people.
What makes this trip responsible?
We use local leaders who are committed to responsible tourism and helping to preserve the way of life in the areas we visit. The leaders will give a briefing on Responsible Tourism issues to help you understand how you can help reduce your impact and maximise the benefits to the local community from your visit. Where possible smaller scale accommodation is used and clients are encouraged to use local restaurants and support local traditions and crafts. Tourism is also crucial in ensuring the protection of Turkey’s unique cultural heritage through the revenue it generates.
