Reality Check
This trip gives you the chance to go sea-kayaking, canyoning, and diving in addition to the Exodus staples of mountain biking and walking. There is also the option to try paragliding. Perfect for those who enjoy plenty of adrenaline along with sun.
As with all our multi-activity trips, no experience of the activities is required for this holiday and those that have experience will not be bored, as there are a wide range of levels and grades to suit all. However, to enjoy this trip to the full, a fair level of fitness, skills and physique are required. The itinerary is very active and long periods of time are spent outdoors or in water.
As so many of the activities are water-based, we do not recommend that non-swimmers book this trip. There is a certain amount of rough and tumble and a few minor cuts and bruises cannot be ruled out.
Please note that the Tour Leader reserves the right to refuse participation of any client on any activities on safety grounds or if they feel that their participation will compromise the safety and enjoyment for the rest of the group.
The order of activities may be changed to suit local weather conditions. Our local partner may ask you to sign an 'acknowledgement of risk' form before undertaking some of the more adventurous activities included as part of the tour. In signing this you will not be limiting your legal rights, as these are governed by our booking conditions and your contract remains with Exodus.
Normal group size and age
Normally 6 to 16, plus leader and appropriate local staff. Minimum age 16.
Icons explained
The vast majority of Exodus adventures are adult group holidays. Groups are always small in size. We strongly believe that this adherence to small groups means a better experience for all; more time with your guide, less waiting around and a reduced impact on the communities and environments visited.
Each group is generally made up of like-minded travellers - with singles, couples and friends all joining in together.
All these trips are suitable for single travellers, but if you prefer to travel with clients booking individually, please
see our Solo Departures page.
Requires a spirit of adventure and some fitness, as the trip may involve more activities or longer journeys.
Serious Adventure: These trips are what Exodus is all about. Join us!
Mixed Activities: Activities may range from the ordinary (for example walking, cycling or whitewater rafting) to the damn right extraordinary (including caving, camel riding or canyoning).
For those clients who wish to travel with a group of other solo/single travellers, on certain trips we have set aside departure dates that are specifically recommended for clients booking individually. Solo departures are aimed at taking away that concern that you may be the only solo traveller when you arrive overseas. Look out for the solo departures (marked with a grey icon's') by checking the notes in the dates and prices table.
However, please note that we inform any couples, or friends travelling together, who enquire about these dates that the trip is recommended for solos, but we do not refuse bookings from non-solo travellers, and we are therefore not able to guarantee that a solo departure will be exclusively made up of solo travellers.
