A fantastic and varied week in an incredibly beautiful part of Turkey. Great group, great guides and really well organised activities, despite some weather problems at the start of our trip.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
Either kayaking over the sunken city in beautiful surroundings, or surviving the canyoning trip!
What did you think of your group leader?
Ozghur was knowledgable about the history of the area, always ready to help with anything we wanted and brilliant at persuading us to get out in the evenings even when our aching limbs suggested that we'd rather go to bed!
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Take absolutely all the kit you think you might need, including gloves, padded shorts, waterproofs and earplugs for the mosque. Also be prepared to grab some sleep when and where you can - after long days the bars and restaurants of Kas are still too tempting!
Is there anything else you would like to add?
We had a terrible flight out to Turkey in a storm, and were delayed for several hours so didn't reach our hotel until nearly midnight on the first night. Despite this, our guides and the hotel staff were friendly, welcoming and attended to all our needs despite probably having had to wait around most of the day for us. Although not a good start, this made us feel like we were in good hands. Our first activity of the holiday (the walk up the gorge) was also a non-starter due to flooding (one of our group was nearly washed away!), and it was a shame that there was no alternative and that we therefore missed out on this, but the weather was extreme so there was little that could be done about this. All in all though, this was my first activity holiday and it couldn't have been better - would definitely go again!

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
So many!
First trek to Patara set the pace of wonder and feeling free. Probably hurtling down the side of a mountain when mounatin biking and my first scuba diving experience where I really did have to relax and trust myself.
And then the chance to go paragliding which I will be doing again sometime!
What did you think of your group leader?
Fantastic guide whom I felt I could trust if ever a situation demanded an emergency response- this was an activity holiday after all.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Be prepared to challenge yourself. It's worth it. An amazing part of the world with a lot to do. Take a few good jumpers for cold evenings and after getting wet to warm up.
If you get room 309 change it as it is the only one that does not get hot water- it gets there last! The staff were very happy to move us.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
A brilliant short holiday. Another week to relax would be good as there is a lot to do around Kas as well as the activites.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
several - I hadn't known I would be abseiling down a 50m sheer cliff beforehand! Kayaking was absolutely beautiful , challenge of 1st scuba dive on another day
What did you think of your group leader?
good sense of humour , got lost once during the bike ride (we all met up later) and the canyoneering was slow , but safety must come 1st
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
we were the oldest in the group (50s) but were able to keep up & thoroughly enjoyed it
Turkey was a pleasure - had a different feel to standard europe , people very friendly , beautiful scenery , interesting food

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
The canyoning trip was exciting, but a little cold due to it being late october.
What did you think of your group leader?
The group leader was approachable and I felt very well looked after in all activities. Being a single traveller was not a problem.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Advice for travellers, late October can be a little cold on the canyoning trip, but everything else great.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Would like to thank exodus for an exciting, adventurous holiday.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
Being the oldest member of the group at the age of 55 but being only 1 of 3 people out of our group of 15 to cycle up to the top of a mountain.
What did you think of your group leader?
Maho is the best. He is a terrific man with many skills . Always puts Safety first and spends a lot of his own personal time with the group to ensure everyone has a great time.
Do you have any advice for potential travellers?
Don't hesitate, go ahead and book it. This is a holiday of a lifetime. I have been on this same holiday 4 times now and it won't be my last.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
I find the local Turkish people in Kas to be extremely friendly. There are also many nice restaurants and bars to sample. When I am on this holiday I don't want to sleep, I just want to savour every moment night and day.

I have done this holiday before so I largely knew what to expect. I wasn't disappointed.The itinerary has changed since I last did the holiday, leaving out 2 nights in Dalyan and White Water Rafting and spending the whole week in Kas and substituting Scuba Diving for White Water Rafting. This arrangement gives slightly more holiday time (ie less time spent travelling and checking in and out of hotels) and Scuba Diving is a fair trade for White Water Rafting. Scuba Diving could have been improved for the experienced divers however because the novice divers were on the trip forcing the boat to anchor close to shore (the novice divers are limited to a maximum of 6 metres). I understand that there are some more interesting dive sites around Kas for experienced divers.Hotel Oreo is good and the staff very friendly and Kas is still a fantastic little town.

What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?
Personally the most insprational moment was completing the uphill section of the mountain biking largely because I was the only one of our group to complete it without getting on the backup bus!
Canyoning is always a thrill but, as usual, I was glad to get to the end.
What did you think of your group leader?
Mohar was suffering a little from "man-flu" the week I was there but he was an ecellent guide and always available to make sure we had a good restaurant and evening entertainment.
